3D Camera Surveillance

In this video, Studio diip presents its 3D Camera Surveillance software. By combining multiple camera feeds, our software can calculate 3D positions of people and objects.

With deep learning algorithms we can detect people, objects, faces and even where someone is looking on a single camera. By calibrating multiple cameras we can calculate these detections in a 3D coordinate system and visualize them on all camera feeds or in a 3D visualization.

With this technology it is possible to perform more advanced spatial detection and tracking with regular cameras. In this demonstration we show the possibilities for detecting objects, faces and the direction someone is looking at. But it can also be used to check the 3D distance between people or detect abnormal behavior of vehicles.

This software will also be used to form the basis for the Rijkswaterstaat Challenge Detection we are selected for.
